2 sisters allegedly steal 'Teen Mom 2' star's dog - WMBF

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – One of the stars of MTV's ‘Teen Mom 2' series confirmed to WMBF News via Twitter that her boyfriend's dog was allegedly stolen by two sisters last month.

Karri Lynn Morris, of Trenton, NJ, and Devyn Rae Norman, of Leland, NC were charged with larceny of dogs, according to jail records.

On July 11, North Myrtle Beach police responded to a call for animal cruelty, according to a police report. The officer stated upon her arrival, she saw a tri-colored Husky tied in the yard. The officer said the dog didn't appear to be neglected, had clean water to drink and was clean. Upon her observation, two women met her in the yard and asked about the dog.

The women asked if they could take the dog, since "[the dog] was always left outside and [the situation] was neglect and cruelty to animals," the report stated.

The officer advised they couldn't take the dogs, since it would be stealing, according to the report.

The officer said she left a notice on the dog owner's door, regarding her visit and as she was leaving, "the women were walking back to their [car] and appeared to be leaving."

Two hours later, the dog owner called the officer and said his dog was gone.

After investigating, it was determined the two women had taken the dog to a friend's house in North Carolina, according to the report. Charges were filed against the sisters. Both women have posted bond.

Shortly after the story was posted to WMBFNews.com, followers of Jenelle Evans tweeted links to the story, and the former Teen Mom 2 responded, confirming that the two women allegedly stole her boyfriend's dog.

WMBF News reached out to Evans via Twitter, who tweeted that the dog belongs to her boyfriend N.J. Griffith.
