"It's almost as if this place was struck by a tsunami. She was very lucky we rescued her when we did, because her condition would have continued to deteriorate until she would have died a miserable and painful death."

Close to death when she was found, Miley, as she has been named, was almost too weak to eat at first.

She was suffering from malnutrition, parasites and bacterial infections.

But she has now close to making a miraculous recovery, thanks to lots of TLC. And, she has also made a new friend, a black chihuahua called Frankie. The two dogs are said to be inseparable.
