A doggy diva honked her owner's car horn non-stop for 15 minutes as she anxiously waited for him to return.

Witnesses said the quick-tempered 18-month-old Boxer jumped into the driver's seat, on the busy street in Dundee, Scotland, after starting to feel abandoned.

The impatient 18-month-old sat with her paw on the horn after she started to feel abandoned on the street in Broughty Ferry, a suburb of Dundee, Scotland.

Passersby initially thought the ear-piercing sound was the result of someone passing out and slumping onto the wheel.

But they were stunned to discover it was the lovable pooch causing all the commotion.

Haddow, 58, returned to find his car surrounded by a huge crowd.

'She just gave me a sideways glance and kept on honking the horn.'

At first he feared the worst, but then he realized they were all filming his pup's antics.

"She was sitting in there casually honking the horn," he told the Dundee Courier.

Fern laughs at the notion of internet stardom.

"Usually when Fern sees me she stands up and gets excited with her tail wagging but this time she just gave me a sideways glance and kept on honking the horn," he added.

Numerous videos of Fern were uploaded online and she's since become an online smash, being seen hundreds of thousands of times.

"It's just so amusing to think that Fern has become a bit of a celebrity and she's completely unaware of it," Haddow added.
