EASTON (CBS) – A man and his dog were both killed while on a walk in Easton Monday morning.

Fire Capt. James Walsh told WBZ-TV the man was walking his dog on Summer Street around 9:20 a.m. when they were struck by an Infiniti sedan.

The 17-year-old driver was the only person in the car. He was taken to Brockton Hospital, but the extent of his injuries is not yet known.


It’s not clear if the victim was in the street or on the sidewalk at the time of the crash.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office will determine if charges will be filed in the investigation.

No names have been released.
